Find out more about the information collected by Google Analytics here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

We, along with third-party vendors such as Google and Facebook, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookies) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) or other third-party identifiers together to compile data regarding user interactions with ad impressions and other ad service functions as they relate to our website. This website may also allow third-party behavioral tracking.
Third parties, including Facebook, may use cookies, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from your websites and elsewhere on the internet and use that information to provide measurement services and target ads. This information may be used to provide us with insights about the effectiveness of our ads, to create custom audiences for advertising, and to enable better targeting for our ads. You can disable cookies in your browser to prevent this service from collecting information about your visits.
Facebook Pixel conversion tracking helps us measure the effectiveness of our Facebook ads and the return on investment for these ads by reporting actions people take after viewing those ads. No personal information is collected as a result of the use of these pixels.
You may access a mechanism to exercise your choice about data collection by visiting http://www.aboutads.info/choices or http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/
Google Ads – The DoubleClick cookie
The DoubleClick cookie is used by Google in the ads served on the websites of its partners, such as websites displaying AdSense ads or participating in Google certified ad networks. - Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website.
- Google’s use of the DoubleClick cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to visitors based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of the use of the DoubleClick cookie for interest-based advertising by visiting Ads Settings.
- Users may opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for interest based advertising by visiting aboutads.info.

You should review the respective privacy policies on any and all third-party ad servers for more information regarding their practices and how to opt-out.

Comments
If you leave a comment on this blog, it requires that you fill out your email address and a name or user ID. It also collects an IP address for you and you can fill out a website or not. I don’t do anything with this information but utilize it to see if you are who you say you are and whether or not your comment is appropriate for this blog. I do not sell or send your information anywhere else. If you are concerned about this, it’s simple – don’t leave a comment. 🙂
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Data Retention Time
- Website analytics: Website analytics information is retained for 26 months. The analytics data is anonymized and does not collect IP addresses.
- Comments: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Product Reviews
I do review some products on this blog that are linked to the retailer’s website and thus hopefully allow me to earn some income from (though not all products on this blog are linked to anything that will provide me with revenue). I always try out and use these products before I recommend them (or don’t recommend them). I am not paid to give a positive review nor am I given free stuff to review, I just tell you how the product is as I see it. The products that I review are things that I have purchased because they sounded useful or interesting, and then I am recommending them to you (or sometimes not recommending them) just as I would to a friend. Then maybe you’ll click on the link I provide to purchase it if it appeals to you. I am given a small percentage of sales through affiliate programs if you use that link. I do not recommend a product simply to make money. If I don’t like it or it didn’t live up to its marketing promises, I won’t recommend it. I’m not going to make a ton of money off of this blog, but I’m hoping the funds will help support this passion of mine.
